Solaire Resort & Casino was the first five-star luxury integrated resort in the Philippines, setting a new standard for the country’s emerging Entertainment City district. Phase 1 and 1A of the development introduced over 800 hotel rooms and suites, private villas, a performance theatre, VIP gaming areas, a grand ballroom and convention centre, a diverse F&B offering, and the country’s first high-end luxury retail mall.

Samantha Drummond led the full design direction on behalf of Bloomberry Resorts, managing both the creative vision and design coordination for the entire resort. She was responsible for overseeing all interior programs, collaborating directly with the chairman and operations team to ensure the development met world-class standards.

Under Samantha’s direction, the Philippines’ first luxury retail mall was also realised. Leveraging her international network, she successfully introduced globally recognised fashion brands to the market and oversaw the design and tenancy strategy for the retail spaces.

Samantha and the Habitus team continue to support the evolution of the Solaire portfolio, currently leading the design for the new 230,000 sqm Solaire Resort North and overseeing ongoing refurbishment works across existing properties.
